Inner peace is an internal sense of calmness that prevails irrespective of the external situations and circumstances. In the current world scenario, turbulent times and constantly changing world dynamics, internal peace of mind is a virtue and necessity.
The best part is that it is not dependent on anyone else or any situation or incident. No one else can make it happen for us. The only person responsible for harbouring inner peace within us and for nurturing it is - ME.
Prayers play a huge role in bringing a sense of tranquillity within. It gives courage and strength to handle any situation or obstacle. Unconditional prayers offering gratitude and asking the Supreme for grace, blessings, love and happiness for all is not only a major stress buster but also a medicine for internal peace.
Gratitude is another accelerator for calming down frenzied nerves and staying peaceful amidst stressful situations and times. Gratitude to one’s family, friends, colleagues, nature, body, the planet and the Universe is a very good and essential tool for making one at peace with the self and the world.
Belief in the self and God also brings a sense of security and calmness. Always remember that you as an individual are very capable and powerful. You have infinite powers and capabilities. God is always there as a guiding light and guardian angel to steer you through troubled waters.
Inner peace is not external, but internal. Focus on the self and turn the locus of control within. You will not only ignite hope and creativity within you, but also increase your self-esteem, productivity, enhance your personality and improve your relations with everyone. Inner peace is key to becoming a better person.
